GAMES AND DYNAMICS of talents
Group and individual dynamics for self-knowledge, which will allow students to discover their 6 main talents. Strengthening and developing them will make them feel a motivating life in coherence with what they can contribute to their environment and the world in general.
It creates special connections between the group and strengthens the self-esteem of the students by discovering themselves as unique people, each with their own talents, empowering them to contribute value.
Group game of more than 2 players. From 10 years old.
The 33 talent cards are placed on the table or floor with the images facing up. At least two groups are formed. The groups should be far enough apart that they cannot hear each other. For example, one group inside the class and the other outside.
“Group 1” decides which person from “Group 2” to do the talent card selection on. They will choose at least 6 talent cards that represent or inspire something about that person. Each component of "group 1" will take one or more cards depending on the number of participants. The chosen talent cards of the selected person will be placed with the images facing up in the center of the table or floor.
When “Group 2” enters the class or room, they will look at the pictures on the talent cards and must decide which person in “Group 2” represents that set of talents. Later, “group 1” will say if “group 2” has got it right or not. Each player in “group 1” will express what has led them to choose said talent card, thinking of the selected person.
From a complete perspective, connecting intuition and emotion when looking at the image of the card, with logic and reason, when reading the concept and definition, we proceed to reflection.
To do this, proceed with the first talent card. Visualize and feel the image of the card (side 1); and then turn it over (side 2) and read the concept of talent.
Rate yourself from 1 to 5 depending on how you feel that talent is in you. 5 being the maximum score, when you consider that this is clearly a talent of yours. It is not necessary that you have developed that talent, you should reflect on how present you think that talent is in you. You can have a talent present in you and not have it developed because you have not put it into practice. For example, you are very good at sports but you don't know how to play soccer well because you haven't practiced it. A developed talent becomes one of our strengths.
IMPORTANT: The objective is to select your SIX main talents, those that visualizing yourself developing you feel satisfaction. Therefore, if after your evaluation, you have more than six talents valued at 5, you must choose only six talents.
KitCo's value proposition is to analyze the perception that people around us have about our talents, as well as to consider different environments such as: family, friends, etc. This information gives us value for our reflection.
We can behave differently depending on the environment in which we find ourselves. Analyzing the perceptions of people from different environments and reflecting on it will give us information for our self-knowledge. For this, it is important to consider a sample of at least five people from each environment, 5 people from the family environment, 5 people from the friends' environment, etc.
Send the talent test to these people so they can rate how they perceive your talents from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score. The goal is to have all of your talents rated based on their perceptions and have them select your top six talents.
IMPORTANT:
The objective is to have from each person their assessment of the perception of all the talents and the selection of your SIX main talents, scored with a 5.
That the students know their talents will allow them to organize the tasks and empower them towards the contribution of value in the work of groups, projects, etc. It will also allow make decisions facing of new challenges or present themselves to selection processes with more security.
With the 33 talent cards and a talent test they will be able to discover their SIX main talents.
Another of KitCo's value proposals is the performance of a 360º analysis. Each student will have their own self-assessment of talents, as well as the evaluation of the perception of their talents by classmates, friends, family, sports partners, etc. Those who know us can say a lot about what talents they see in us. In addition, we may have some talent so innate that we cannot see it as a proper talent; those who know us will see it and will make us discover it.
With KitCo each student decides what his six talents are, those that visualizing developing them feel satisfaction. Yes, that is the difference, there is no result that is worth other than the one from which each feel that it is part of yourself.
KitCo is a great tool for discover the talents of the students and analyze with it the professions in which they can develop them to contribute their unique value and live a motivating, full and satisfying life.
To do this, they will first carry out the dynamics of discovering their talents and then they will identify with the Annex of professions vs. talents, which is in the kit, those professions that require their talents.
For each talent, they will analyze at least professions that are in the Annex and will point out those that make them feel curious or that something makes them vibrate inside. You will see that some professions will be repeated in some of your six selected talents. From here they will carry out a work of exploration of the resulting professions. This work of exploration will allow them to identify their ideal career path.
Through a simple and visual dynamic, students will be able to analyze how consistent is their current activity based on their talents and values, with the aim of establishing an action plan to develop their talents or be more aware of their values.
Through the realization of ikigai dynamics the students will do a job of self-knowledge by analyzing the confluence between what they like to do, their talents and what the world needs, taking into account their values and the connection with one of the SDGs (sustainable development goals).
